PearlWood

With its beautiful and distinctive grain, PearlWood lends itself especially to stained finishes, allowing the natural grain to shine through.

Our PearlWood shutters are manufactured from a lightweight, hardwood called "Paulownia.” Paulownia is a fast growoing deciduous tree and a perfect crop for managed farming. It has a distinctive whitish grain making it particularly popular for natural and stain finishes. The grain is deeper than the majority of our hardwoods and when painted PearlWood still retains that slightly textured feel, demonstrating that it truly is wood.

Due to its lighter weight PearlWood particularly blends itself to applications requiring a larger than average shutter span.
